About Your Instructor
Carlos Virgen, former editor at The Day and current senior editor at the Modesto Bee, leads this 90-minute lesson on narrative audio. He provides storytelling strategies and best practices. Before joining the Modesto Bee, Carlos spent 10 years as assistant managing editor for audience development at The Day. He also has been online manager at the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin in Washington and an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut.
